Temporary suspension of postal services to the US

Dear Tail-wagger Family,

We want to let you know about some recent changes that affect orders being shipped to the United States.

Due to new US import tariff requirements (Executive Order 14324), Australia Post - along with other international postal services - has temporarily suspended some postal services to the US and Puerto Rico. This suspension is effective immediately and will remain in place until further notice.

The new rules from US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) mean:

  1. The previous USD $800 tax-free threshold (de minimis exemption) has been removed.
  2. All shipments now require detailed customs declarations.
  3. Duties and taxes must be paid before goods can enter the US.

To address this, Australia Post is working with Zonos®, an authorised CBP partner, to provide a solution that will allow services to resume. Once this service is ready, you’ll be able to register so you’re set up in advance. We’ll keep you updated as soon as it’s available.

In the meantime, please note that shipments to the US are on hold. If you’re placing an order with us, we’ll update you on when deliveries can resume.

We understand this may cause inconvenience and we appreciate your patience as these international requirements are worked through.

For the latest updates, we recommend checking Australia Post’s website or the official US CBP website.

If you have any questions about how this affects your order, please don’t hesitate to reach out - we’re here to help.

With warm woofs, The Harvey & Lola team x
